Angela Gerekou
President of Greek National Tourism Organization

Mrs. Gerekou is the President of the Greek National Tourism Organization since August 2019. She has served as Deputy Minister for Culture and Tourismfrom2009-10, and Deputy Minister of Culture from 2014-15. Additionally, from 2004-2012 she was elected multiple times as a member of the Greek Parliament.

Since 2011 she is President of the Board of Directors of the Ionian Cultural Center which hosts since then the Corfu Festival of Arts. During 2005-2006 she was appointed as the National Representativeon Global Progressive Forum’s campaign against AIDS. She is a volunteer participant in various social initiatives for environmental protection, youth culture and sensitive social groups. She is an Ambassador for Tourism in ICC Hellas and a honorable member for Hellenic association women in culture and tourism and a board member for the worldtourism institute. She is a Vice President for WBAF’s Global Women Leaders Committee.

Theofilos is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. In 1997 he co-founded Kariera.gr, the
leading on-line recruitment firm in SE Europe (which he sold in 2007 to CareerBuilder.com and
bought back in 2020) and in 2006 Group IMI, an Events company in Dubai and S. Arabia (sold
to private investors in 2014). From 2007 until 2018 he worked with CareerBuilder.com at
several positions including President of APAC.
Currently he is the Chairman of Kariera.gr and CEO /co-founder of Socital, an AI and Machine
Learning startup with operations in London, UK and Athens, GR.

Adanna Sommer Welch-Charles
Head of Operational Governance and Business Manager, Vodafone

Adanna is an Afro-Caribbean British Mother whose ambition is to change the face of technology for the future generation. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in the UK. She spent the past ten years at Vodafone, holding Procurement and Technology Transformation roles across Luxembourg, Australia and the UK. She is now the Head of Operational Governance and Business Manager to Vodafone Group’s Chief Technology Officer and is an Executive Sponsor of Multi-cultural Inclusion Network at Vodafone. Adanna is an active promoter of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in all of its wonderful forms.

Varun Parmar
Chief Product Officer at Miro

Varun is a strong strategic and analytical thinker with proven leadership in scaling SaaS businesses. He has two decades of experience in product management in the collaboration category including leadership roles at Adobe, Box, EMC, and Doculus – a company he founded.
